ABOUT MY HEALTH:

SUNDAY OCTOBER 23 2011 ( as of this day doing alright mashallah)

BOTH MY KIDNEYS HAVE FAILED. I AM ON DIALYSIS SINCE OCT '08. I AM FEELING MUCH BETTER NOW WITH MY REGULAR THRICE A WEEK DIALYSIS, TIMELY MEDICINE AND FOLLOW STRICT DIET PROGRAM. HOPING AND PRAYING FOR A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT SOON. I AM IN THE WAITING LIST IN GEORGIA, AND THE WAITING TIME OVER HERE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 YEARS. I HAVE A DONAR WHO HAS OFFERED HER KIDNEY. TESTS ARE GOING ON RIGHT NOW. HOPE ITS A MATCH. IF TESTS SHOW POSITIVE SIGN THEN I SHOULD HAVE MY TRANSPLANT IN FEW MONTHS INSHALLAH. REMEMBER ME IN YOUR PRAYERS.

just finished my Kidney Transplant Evaluation Tests in Emory Hospital. Took 2 months for all the tests (about 10 tests.) Now the kidney donor's tests will start in a few days. that will take about 2 months. Then if its a matching kidney then should be getting my transplant in another few months.

HOW IT HAPPENED: INHERITED FROM FAMILY ( polycystic kidney disease ).

MY MOTHER WAS ON DIALYSIS FOR 10 YRS BEFORE SHE DIED.
